My pursuit is to create on a negative what I see and feel in the world. This led to the discovery of the photographic darkroom and the intoxicating process of creating a print. The combination of making an exposure and watching it come to life is a truly magical experience. The print brings a photograph to life and not until an image is printed do I consider it a photograph. This is why I continually strive to improve my printing and photographic technique by exploring composition in a frame to help further evoke introspective and provocative thought.
